Pre-registration and registration

News and key dates to remember

The adidas TERREX MaXi-Race 2026 will take place on May 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2026.

In 2026, the adidas TERREX MaXi-Race changes provider for the registration module.

This year, there will be a pre-registration period from October 1 to October 30, 2025.

We will be holding 2 registration validation sessions.

  • The first validation wave will take place between October 15 and 17 for around 50 to 60% of Bibs.
  • The second wave of validation will take place between October 30 and November 2.
  • For those not selected, a waiting list will be set up in the order of pre-registration.
  • If after the second validation wave there are still places available on certain Race formats, the principle of first paid entry = first registered will apply.

Beware of special cases:

  • MaXi and Semi'Orientation: opening on December 15, 2025
  • Ado-race: registration opens on February 15, 2026
  • Mini-Race: registration opens on April 15, 2026

3 different registration strategies

This year, there are 3 ways to register, so it's up to you to choose the one that suits you best!

Individual registrations
  • This type of registration is intended for people who wish to pre-register individually.
  • If this is the case, go to our registration module between October 1 and 30 to pre-register by filling in the required information.

Buddy/family" registrations
  • The aim of "buddy/family" pre-registration is that if the file of one of your buddies or family members is validated, your file will be validated at the same time.
  • To register your pre-registrations as "friends/family", here's how to do it:
    • a single person must pre-register all his/her "friends/family" via the registration module. To do this, you can add the races of several people to your basket between October 1 and 30. Everyone must register at the same time - we won't add anyone to your "friends/family" group after finalization.
    • Please note that the bank imprint must be made using a single card. If your "group/family" pre-registrations are validated, the registration fee will only be debited from this bank account and not from each person's account.
    • in the event of cancellation (if the cancellation insurance option was taken out at the time of registration), reimbursement will be made according to the share of the person who cancelled and only to the credit card of the person who paid.
  • Here's a tip: organize a little jogging with your friends and family, and finish off with an aperitif to collect all the registration information and have a great time!

Group registration
  • Groups (from 20 people) are only possible if the structure(FFA club, company) requests it. Groups of friends are therefore not possible.
  • To benefit from a "group" pre-registration, please send a request to inscriptionmaxirace@gmail.com between September 15 and October 14.
  • You will then receive a special link to pre-register your group members.
  • Please note that only 1 payment must be made in the name of the association or company - Payment must be made by the specified date.
  • These Bibs are neither transferable nor saleable.

How is your visit validated?

The adidas TERREX MaXi-Race is designed for everyone: from the elite to the disadvantaged, from the young to the less trained, from local residents to French and international athletes.

As in recent years, a quota of Bibs will be reserved:

  • to local riders
  • partners
  • runners registered for the Plaintel and Martigues Carro partner races (valid only for pre-registration requests made between October 1 and 14).
  • to specific groups
  • etc ...

In the spirit of ONE EVENT FOR EVERYONE, we've abandoned the "who's the fastest and has the right schedule" approach to registration, so that you can be in front of your PC at opening time (or who has the fastest internet connection...). So we've set up a system for allocating Bibs that's designed to be as consistent as possible, taking into account the performance levels of pre-registrants.

Explanation:

Let's take the following example... we say it's an example ; ) :

On the races, we will assign a number of Bibs per performance level range, for example :

  • if there are 150 Bibs available between level 36 and 40 Betrail and there are 300 requests in this level range, we'll make a random selection from among these people.
  • if there are 150 Bibs available between level 41 and 45 Betrail and there are 140 requests in this level range, all requests will be taken.
  • if there are 150 Bibs available between level 46 and 50 Betrail, we will continue to follow this logic
  • ...

Don't worry, there are also places for "novice" runners without a Betrail index (but go and check your card, we're sure it exists - unless you've never run a single trail Race ).

This system may not be perfect, but we remind you that our aim is to have roughly the same number of people per performance level, so that everyone can enjoy the event.
